Your Responsibilities
As a UX Designer for John Deere World Headquarters located in Chicago, IL, you will be leading efforts to enhance user interfaces within manufacturing systems. This role centers on optimizing manufacturing interfaces for better usability and efficiency. Additionally, you are responsible for:
- UX design activities including delivery mockup-ups and interactive prototypes.
- Ensuring your team communicates the design vision and user journey for our dealer ecosystem.
- Conducting design thinking workshops with stakeholder groups.
- Creatively addressing complex applications, impediments, and user journeys.
- Collaborating with UX researchers on product discovery, design validation, first click testing, usability testing, interviews, and surveys.
- Presenting your design vision and recommendations to colleagues, management, and executives.
- Partnering with the IT UX Design Ops team to leverage and contribute to our John Deere's Design System.

What Skills You Need
- 3 or more years of UX and UI design experience.
- Expertise in Figma or other equivalent design and rapid-prototyping tools.
- Versed in creating wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Strong track record of communicating and presenting effectively.
- Capacity to lead design discussions and influence stakeholders.
- A portfolio highlighting your design process and experience.
- Strong familiarity with incorporating branding and common design system components and guidelines into product experiences.
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Usability, Graphic
- Arts, Digital Design, Industrial Design, Marketing, Human Factors or related discipline
