Title: Aftermarket Business Manager
Primary Location: Australia (AU) -Queensland - Crestmead
The Opportunity
Role Purpose:
Manages and directs development and implementation of parts and service sales and marketing plans to achieve parts and service sales growth objectives. Additionally, directs parts and service initiatives that lead to sales growth.
This role focuses on the integration of the aftermarket business with the overall business strategy, emphasizing service, business partnering, and influencing sales growth through strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Execution
- Set and deliver on ambitious sales targets for parts and service.
- Lead the development and execution of branch sales plan and dealer marketing and sales plans that align with enterprise goals.
Team & Channel Partner Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Aftermarket Sales Managers.
- Drive dealer capability and engagement through structured programs and coaching.
Market Intelligence & Innovation
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Champion the development of new and enhanced parts and service offerings.
Enablement & Representation
- Oversee the creation of dealer parts sales training programs, and sales enablement tools.
- Represent the business at key industry events, field days, and conferences.
Budget & Program Management
- Own the sales budget for aftermarket sales.
*The role involves domestic travel of up to 50%, supporting dealer engagement, field visits, and industry events across Australia and New Zealand.
About You
What Skills You Need
- Sales experience and skills, including OEM-to-Dealer and Dealer-to-Customer interactions.
- Proven capacity to lead initiatives that enhance parts and service sales.
- Strong business acumen with strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience in influencing business outcomes through comprehensive aftermarket strategies.
- Effective leadership across people and business functions.
- Skilled in coaching, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Adaptability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Service-oriented mindset with a record of delivering value through Dealer Channels.
- Deep understanding of Agricultural & Turf and Construction & Forestry sectors.
- Demonstrated success integrating aftermarket with broader business strategy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
