Título: Automation Test Supervisor - Indaiatuba/SP - 113380

As an Automation Test Supervisor at John Deere, based at the Indaiatuba/SP unit, you will lead a team of test automation engineers responsible for supporting the verification of embedded software systems across various platforms. Your team will ensure software quality, performance, and compliance by developing and executing automated test strategies using state-of-the-art tools and frameworks. You will also play a key role in mentoring talent, aligning test strategies with business goals, and driving continuous improvement in test automation practices.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor a team of test automation engineers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback;
Oversee the design, development, and execution of automated test cases across multiple environments (SIL, HIL, Bench, VIL);
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria;
Ensure timely execution of test plans and reporting of results, including defect tracking;
Lead initiatives to improve test cycle times, reduce manual testing, and increase automation coverage;
Support hiring, onboarding, and development of team members to build a high-performing test organization;
Align team objectives with broader business goals and communicate progress to stakeholders;
Promote best practices in test automation, including code reviews, CI/CD integration, and metrics tracking.

Skills You Need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field;
Advanced English: broad vocabulary, good grammar, conducts meetings, argues, negotiates and provides training;
Experience in embedded software, testing or automation;
Proven leadership experience in a technical or supervisory role;
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

What Makes You Stand Out

ISTQB Foundation Level Certification;
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps;
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor junior engineers;
Knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., ECU-Test, Jenkins, Python, GitHub);
Familiarity with embedded systems, CAN/Ethernet communication, and agricultural machinery is a plus.
