Major Purpose
We are looking for a
Software Specialist (embedded)
to join our R&D automation team, which is responsible for the control systems of harvesters, forwarders and full-tree machines worldwide.
In this position, you will design and implement versatile software features for our machine control systems. You will work together in active cooperation with local and international cross-technical design teams, and on your part be responsible for high-quality software development in our projects.
We require
- Software development expertise in embedded systems (e.g. C, Matlab/Simulink)
- High motivation for continuously improving your skillset as a professional
- Self-initiative and proactive approach to tasks at hand
- Good teamwork skills in an international work environment
We value
- Experience in software engineering methods (e.g. agile, Git, continuous integration)
- Experience of model-based software development (e.g. Matlab/Simulink)
- Ability to work in practical machine control system development projects
- Fluency in Finnish considered as an advantage
