The Opportunity
The Manufacturing analyst is responsible for driving Enterprise Product Data Management processes (EPDM), facilitating product configurator reviews and monthly reconciliations for financial reporting, as well as maintaining Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to support engineering change projects and their associated workflow. This will form the core day to day activity. There will also be a requirement to support the Industrial Financial Systems (IFS) Change Coordinator role, where Continuous Improvement initiatives and IFS modifications are required.

What you will be responsible for
- Understand the Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) processes and diagnose & resolve issues as the Waratah EPDM Administrator.
- Facilitate monthly reconciliations with Manufacturing knowledge of parts, assemblies, configuration structure and labour routing for Financial reporting. Investigate the root cause and rectify data issues.
- Interpret & define the impact of Engineering Change and Cost Saving initiatives.
- Interpret & define annual product Representative (REP) configurations.
- Maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Industrial & Financial Systems (IFS) & Product Data Management (PDM) systems to support product change projects and their Workflow.
- Interpret & report on Part Cost accuracy between the Waratah Factory & Waratah Parts International (WPI).
- Facilitate Configurator reviews, testing, and implement IFS modifications to support rationalized options across all models
- Create Power BI dashboards and visualizations accessing data from multiple sources including the enterprise data lake (EDL).
- Identify inefficiencies and optimize or automate current processes of data collection or maintenance.
- Support Line Balance and Standard Time efficiency improvements
- Manage engineering change numbers and execute limited scope manufacturing projects
- Support the execution of Smart Connected Factory project initiatives.

- Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems and decision release systems. – (Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others)
- Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and industrial engineering practices, systems, and tools. - Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others.
- Skill in using company information systems and processes. - Performs more complex functions, problem solving, attention to detail, understands principles, may teach others.
- Understands the Enterprise Product Delivery Process . - Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others.
- Able to diagnose the root cause of issues.
- SQL and Databricks knowledge is an advantage.
Education / Experience
Formal education or training required to perform the essential functions of the job. Includes degrees, certifications, licenses and/or registration requirements.
- Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
- Degree in Computer Sciences discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
Type and amount of experience necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. May include specific roles and/or an understanding of a particular function, organization, industry or product line.
- General engineering work experience. – 4+ years
- Participation as a team member in major engineering projects. - Yes
- Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases. – 4+ years
